Doug Nolan's Top 5 for Families
Many San Mateo County Library branches had the pleasure of hosting Doug Nolan of Rock Steady Juggling this summer. His Eco-Tainment! program was a fast-paced and exciting blend of juggling, comedy, music, magic, and environmental education.
Doug is a founding member of The Sippy Cups, an amazing local children’s pop-rock band. Their theatrical performances have gained them a huge following across the Bay Area and U.S. Check out their CDs, including The Time Machine, Electric Story-land!, and Kids Rock for Peas.
Doug’s Top 5 for Families
Doug, a local resident, frequently visits the Half Moon Bay Library with his family. I asked him to give us a Top 5 List of items he recommends families check out from San Mateo County Libraries. He enthusiastically gave us not only a kid-friendly Top 5 List, but also a Top 5 List for grown-ups, available on the Collective Brain blog.
